The two Ambassadors exchanged views and information on bilateral relations between Malaysia – Russia, and Cambodia – Russia, as both sides aim to enhance cooperation with the host country through exchanging high – level visits and bilateral meetings, as well as cooperation in areas of security, military, trade and investment, tourism and people – to – people linkages. Regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed, including constructive cooperation between ASEAN member states in Russia.
នៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី១៣ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៣ ឯកឧត្តម ពេជ្រឃុន បញ្ញា ឯកអគ្គរាជទូតកម្ពុជាប្រចាំនៅសហព័ន្ធរុស្ស៊ីបានទទួលជួបសម្តែងការគួរសម និងពិភាក្សាការងារជាមួយឯកឧត្តម Cheong Loon Lai ឯកអគ្គរដ្ឋទូតតែងតាំងថ្មីនៃប្រទេសម៉ាឡេស៊ីប្រចាំសហព័ន្ធរុស្ស៊ី។ On 13 March 2024, H.E. Mr. PichKhun Panha, Ambassador of Cambodia to Russia welcomed a courtesy call by Ambassador – Designate of Malaysia to the Russian Federation Dato’ Cheong Loon Lai, at the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Moscow. Ambassador congratulated the Malaysian Ambassador on his new appointment.

The meeting was cordial, and helped strengthen good relations between the two embassies. Both sides are committed to forge closer cooperation with the host country, and be at one’s disposal to share thoughts and experiences, while working closely during their tenure in Russia៕
